At The Clover Mill, the two great Indian sister systems of Ayurveda and Yoga work side by side. Just as Ayurveda draws upon a particular herb in a massage oil, Yoga might select an asana, (posture), or breathing technique, (pranayama) to bring about a desired health outcome.

What better place than The Clover Mill for Yoga to embrace its ancient roots and continue to grow.

We offer weekly classes and day workshops.

What is Yoga

Yoga is an ancient Indian philosophy, possibly meaning union or harmony. It is holistic, seeking to balance mind, body and spirit and guiding us towards heightened well-being on all levels. This may show as, for example, a more relaxed mind, improved joint flexibility, or greater spiritual awareness. All Yoga appears to ask of us is that we place our comfortably clothed bodies upon yoga mats and perform postures, breathing and meditation techniques. The Clover Mill acknowledges and builds upon this simplicity by inviting us to its beautiful yoga studio in the mill loft, where warmth, light, harmony and peace combine to enable our practice to unfold and develop well beyond our yoga mats and the studio.

At The Clover Mill, the two great Indian sister systems of Ayurveda and Yoga work side by side. Just as Ayurveda draws upon a particular herb in a massage oil, Yoga might select an asana, (posture), or breathing technique, (pranayama) to bring about a desired outcome. Ayurveda acknowledges that Yoga has much to offer in terms of creating and maintaining good health and integrates many aspects of it into its own treatments. Yoga looks to Ayurveda for some of its broad energetic concepts and brings them into its teachings and practices. What better place than The Clover Mill for Yoga to embrace its ancient roots and continue to grow.
